Research and Development Centre: It is set up for the promotion of excellence in higher education and research for academic excellence under IIC-Ganpat University.

1. Promotes excellence in research in higher education.
2. Gives financial support for attending national and international conferences/seminars/workshops, etc;
3. Organizes short-term training programs and workshops and promotes the publication of research outcomes in good-quality research journals.
4. Motivates students and faculty members to apply for funding from government and non-government organizations.

Research Facilities

1. Supercomputer Lab

Param Shavak supercomputer

Institute of Computer Technology, Ganpat University is recently provided with Param Shavak supercomputer by GUJCOST and C-DAC, Pune. It is configured with 96GB RAM and a 16TB hard disk. It can be used for various research purposes like large-scale data analysis and processing, bioinformatics, weather forecasting, pharmaceutical development, etc.

Institute of Computer Technology, Ganpat University is configured with a Big Data Analytics lab that comprises Big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, etc. It can be used for various research purposes like large-scale data analysis and processing, weather forecasting, development, etc.

2. Cloud Automation Lab

Institute of Computer Technology, Ganpat University is configured with a Cloud computing lab that comprises Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, AWS cloud, etc. It can be used for various research purposes like large-scale cloud automation, real-time data sensing such as temperature, humidity, etc.

3. Artificial Intelligence Lab

Institute of Computer Technology, Ganpat University is configured with an Artificial Intelligence lab that comprises Machine learning and Deep learning tools. It can be used for various research based on machine learning or deep learning.
