The summer period is an important time of the year for students to gain practical exposure, and summer internships are a great way in this direction as students not only learn new skills but also get financial independence through them.
Students become aware of the benefits of summer internships at internshala and know how to find one; a seminar on the topic 'A Roadmap for Internshala Summer Internships' was organized at GANPAT UNIVERSITY- ACHARYA MOTIBHAI PATEL INSTITUTE OF COMPUTER STUDIES on 12th March 2020 for the students. Conducting this seminar had definitely provided students a clarity regarding how to make the best use of the summer period with internship. The Seminar was organized for the students of FCA. About 120 students have attended the seminar. We have distributed seminar kit to all the students during the seminar.
This internship helps students to build strong profile by making them stand out among applications while getting a job. Many companies prefer hiring employees through internships since the hiring process requires a lot of efforts to put in by the employer and through internships, employers get a chance to test the intern before making an offer to them. Students get connected to different people by working in a corporate world which may come handy in the later stages of their life. Doing an internship helps students to decide between career options and student get more clarity working as an intern about the job profile.
