Student Orientation Programme- BCA Honors
Academic Batch: 2024-2025
25th to 27th July 2024
The three days orientation program for the newly admitted first-year students of BCA honors began on 25th July 2024 in the Auditorium Hall, Ganpat University, Gujarat. The program was held in different session and campus visit in which total 425 students and their parents were present.
First Day: Thursday, 25th July 2024
In the inception of the program, Ganpat University Videos were played. The orientation program began with the welcome of the newly admitted students and their parents, Chief Guest of the event, dignitaries and faculty members with prayer and lamp lighting ceremony with Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Satyen Parikh, Pro Vice Chancellor of Ganpat University and executive Dean, Faculty of Computer Applications welcome invited guest, students and their parents and briefed about the institute, history with achievements and academic discipline.
- Dr. Ganpatbhai I. Patel, President and Patron in Chief, Ganpat University, Gujarat, India graced the occasion and preside over the program by his inspirational speech, congratulate students and stressed the importance of hard work, dedication , a good human being in achieving academic excellence.
- Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Pro Chancellor & Director General of Ganpat University grace the occasion, delivered ceremonial address, outlining the university vision and inspired the young mind students by his speech.
- Mr. Harish Chib, Vice President, Sophos, Ahmedabad, Chief Guest of the programme motivated the students as to how great heights can be scaled even in adverse situations and how to become a successful learner.
- Mr. Tejas Parekh, Product Designer, ArmorCode Inc., Ahmedabad, Gujarat greaced the occasion as Guest of honor, shared his experience with students , also he conducted session on AI and the current technologies that industry needs, and opportunities available for the computer science students.
Dr. Nirbhay Chaubey, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Applications proposed vote of thank followed by university song.
The afternoon activities included presentations, interactive sessions, and opportunities for students to explore innovative projects and skill development programs. Industry Meet Presentation and Interaction (12:25 PM – 1:00 PM), Speaker: Mr. Tejas Parekh, Product Designer, ArmorCode Inc., Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Topic: "Software Development Process and Practices".
