DURGA PUJA

Description
" You are the Goddess of Victory, you are the Goddess of Divinity, you embody the Power of destraction, you are the harbinger of prosperity, you save us from misery, you obtain our consciousness on kind and tolerant one the savior of the Gods " and that's exactly how we felt at our department's Durga Puja. The event was organized by A. M. Patel Institute of Computer Applications, Ganpat University which took place on October 20, 2023, at the AMPICS. From the beginning, the students as well as Faculties were enthralled and enthusiastic about the event. There were about 120 students who participated in the event.
Every year, the Hindu state of West Bengal, along with many other states including Bihar, Assam, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh (especially in the eastern regions), as well as a few other nations like Bangladesh and Nepal, celebrate the Hindu festival of Durga Puja. The event falls within the month of Ashvin in the Indian calendar, which translates to September through October in the Gregorian calendar. Another name for Durga Puja is Sharodotsav, or Durgotsava. Ten days are dedicated to a religious and cultural celebration honoring the Hindu goddess Durga, who is regarded as a hero for her conquest of the demon king Mahishasura. People worship Hindu deities during the holiday, engage in social and familial get-togethers, go shopping, and exchange gifts.
