As the crisis of COVID-19, which has taken the world in its dark clutches, seems to be abating with a glint of hope in sight in the form of a vaccine, Ganpat University invited Amb. Dr. Parin Somani as part of GUNI Distinguished Lecture upon its campus on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Amb. Dr. Parin Somani. She is an Independent Academic Scholar, Motivational Speaker, Educator, Writer, Author and Journalist. She has spoken in 137 National and International webinars and conferences, in various capacities such as Chief Guest, Guest of honour, Inaugurator, Keynote Speaker, Valedictorian, Chairperson, Presenter, and Interviewee. She has presented her views at 117 International Webinars and Conferences during the COVID- 19 pandemic.

The day commenced in the cozy seminar hall of MBA building amid the auspicious presence of Amb. Dr. Parin Somani, Dr. Amit K Parikh, Dean and Principal, Faculty of Science, Dr. Pancholi, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ms. Faree Somani, daughter of Dr. Parin Somani, and Professor Hiteshkumar Solanki, Botany Dept., Gujarat University. Accepting the cordial invitation of Dr. Amit K. Parikh, Amb. Dr. Parin Somani decided to give a talk to the youth in general. In keeping with the post pandemic scenario, Amb. Dr. Somani very aptly picked a theme that would enable students to cope with these precarious times, instill hope and build resilience, along with maintaining a well-poised demeanor.

After lighting Diya, Amb. Dr. Parin Somani delivered a session that was both lucid and thought-provoking on How to Improve Your Life Skills Post Covid-19. The presenter who herself has been a source of motivation to students gave encouraging example from her own life and inspired students to be self-motivated. Amb. Dr. Parin Somani commenced the talk by throwing light on the desired skills that one has to adopt for full participation in everyday life.
