Summary
The Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Ganpat University organized a one-day event celebrating National Chemistry Day on 2nd August 2024 to honor the birth anniversary of Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray, the Father of Indian Chemistry. The event featured an expert talk by Dr. Krunal M. Modi titled "Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray: A Journey of Excellence," highlighting Ray's contributions to the field of chemistry. Additionally, the event included a quiz and elocution competition, engaging participants from various departments. A total of 96 students participated, showcasing their knowledge and passion for chemistry. The event served as an excellent platform for students to learn about the legacy of Acharya Ray and engage in scientific discussions.
