Placement Report 2022

Training and Placement cell of the ICT, GUNI majorly works on the following areas throughout the year: 

• Summer Internships and Skill Development related trainings throughout the year
• Industry connects through HR & CEO Conclave organization 
• Campus Recruitment Programme to ensure 100% Placements 
• Final year project in association with IBM 
• Industry Institute Collaboration & Interaction for Orientation of first year students, Alumni Interaction, Foreign University Interaction through Indo American Education Society 
• Industry and Field Visit for exposure of Technologies and Scope of Specialization 

In Spite of Pandemic situation , TPO CELL has continued tireless efforts for better placement of batch 2018-2022 since July 2021. Orientation Sessions, pre placement mock up, group discussion , aptitude test, logical reasoning, interview mock refresher rounds were arranged online. And hence , the online learning activities and efforts department has ensured the minimum skill level of all students to be developed. 

The results and outcomes were measured carefully and training needs analysis was done per each specialization course of B Tech offered . Feedback and scope of improvements also discussed with students to work upon their strengths accordingly. 

We have also taken care of students' Soft skill development like resume building, analyzing individual interest, competency and skills for professional career. For T&P Cell, the entire journey was amazing like a marathon as understanding, counseling each individual to project his or her next trajectory. Students were quite serious and confident at times to chart out their professional interest and competency. This has reduced the task to almost a half. 

ICT clearly differentiated between students seeking placements and other groups seeking internship / training. ICT stresses on the fact that Placements must be offered to seriously interested masses and they must get an appropriate opportunity. Wherein, internships / training are for those who are either willing for higher education or family business or willing to be entrepreneurs.
