Attendance Policy

1. Ideally, 100% (minimum 75%) attendance is compulsory in every subject’s theory and Lab sessions.
2. Subject teachers do maintain the daily attendance record. The cumulative attendance of this record will determine the eligibility of students to appear for mid-term exam as well the fial university exam.
3. If the attendance criteria are nonfulfiled, additional academic work assigned by course professor needs to be completed and in extremities, may invite detention from academic term.
4. In case the student remains absent, parents will be informed via phone calls from institute.
5. Attendance also contributes to the internal evaluation of individual subjects hence attending all sessions is worth to gain good score and knowledge.

Attendance Exemptin

1. The student may participate at max 2-3 extra-curricular activities / per academic cycle organized by other institute / University during any academic cycle. i.e. Jan-April, July- Nov. every year.
2. The attendance exemption is applicable if student participates to IITs, IIMs, NITs and colleges & universities of national repute. Student will be given exemption from attendance only for the day of event provided.
3. He/she has taken prior permission from class teacher / faculty over email or in person.
4. He/she produces certificate of participation / award / appreciation letter along with short summary of report / achievement to the class teacher.
5. Institute encourages students to use college resources for preparation of projects / models for
6. such participation. Take prior permission through class teacher for resource utilization and use it post college hours for preparation /assistance.
7. Institute may fund (limited amount) in an exceptional case for project / event participation.
